The Adolescence Education program provides students who have an undergraduate or graduate degree in a content area such as English, Math, Science, Social Studies and World Languages with state of the art pedagogical science to prepare them for their role as 21st century adolescence educators.

The 18 month program focusing on research based practice is offered through the University’s weekend quarter schedule and leads to an M.S. in Education with recommendation for initial certification in grades 7-12 in the content area. Prior certification is not required for entrance into this program. This is a 33 credit program.
